Troop 567 was establish in 1998 to provide the youths of Vero Beach with a source of Moral, Social, and Community guidance, and to develop the full potential of our youth.

Pat Rice was our First Scoutmaster from 1998 to 2005. He was succeeded by Toby Turner, Toby Turner was the troop Scoutmaster from 2005 to 2009. In turn he was succeeded by Mike Hollers as Scoutmaster from 2009 to 2011. Dr. Glen Treml, took on the troop leadership as Scoutmaster from 2011 to 2013. Afterward, Matt Sorrell took on the position of Scoutmaster from 2013 to present.

Boy Scout Troop 567 is part of the Indian River District, which is associated to the Florida Gulf Stream Council Headquartered in Palm Beach.

Troop 567 is a very active and dynamic boy led troop, the outdoors and community service for part of its basic program. You can learn more about the Troop Policies and Procedures under the Troop tab.

The Troop meets on every Thursday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Church community center located on 1850 6th Ave. in Vero Beach.
